Dr. McCarthy is a native of Sioux City and has been in private practice in Sioux City since 1995. Dr. McCarthy graduated valedictorian from the College of Podiatric Medicine and Surgery at Des Moines University and served a two-year residency in Des Moines. He is Board Certified and a Diplomat of the American Board of Podiatric Surgery. He is a member of the American Podiatric Medical Association and a board member of the Iowa Podiatric Medical Society. Dr. McCarthy is also a Fellow of the American College of Foot & Ankle Surgeons, and American Society of Podiatric Surgeons.
