Dr. Morris graduated from The University of Iowa-College of Medicine in 1986. In 1991 he completed his surgical residency at the University of Nebraska-Medical Center.

Dr. Morris graduated from The University of Iowa-College of Medicine in 1986. In 1991 he completed his surgical residency at the University of Nebraska-Medical Center.

Dr. Morris has been practicing in general surgery since 1991. He performs thoracic, cancer, laparoscopic and vascular surgery in addition to the wide array of surgeries offered by most general surgeons. He is a Fellow in the American College of Surgeons and is Board Certified with the American Board of Surgery.

Starting in 2012, Dr. Morris has started to do many of his laparoscopic surgeries using the da Vinci robotic system. Gallbladder, hernia, colon, stomach, lung and esophageal surgeries are many of the surgeries that Dr. Morris now does with the da Vinci robotic system as well as with laparoscopic surgery and traditional open surgeries.

Dr. Morris practice is the best of both worlds including the latest technologies but also 17,000 surgeries worth of experience.
